Bridal couture designer, Tanya Anic is proud to present her new heavenly collection of 15 gowns, ‘The Stars’. As a young girl Tanya has always loved the stars in the night sky and dreamed of being an astronomer; it is these twinkly delights and a recent trip to Hollywood that have inspired her throughout this floaty, feminine and desirable collection.
“I have a deep love of fabrics”, says the designer and she was attracted to the delicate sparkles and soft floaty textured fabrics within the design phase. The fabric’s come from France, Italy and the UK, the colours are mostly ivory but merge into soft greys and soft blue tones, the sparkles also featuring a silver/grey tone.

AMARILLA – Greek /Spanish – Shiny, sparkling
AAIDA – Hebrew – Ornament or brightness
ORIANA – Latin – Sunrise
CELESTINA – French – Heavenly person

About Tanya Anic: Tanya has been designing gowns for 7 years now under her own label but gained experience working in sales and design for other designers previously. Growing up in country South Australia, she started sewing from a young age and has always been passionate about her craft. The beauty of nature inspires her and it is with her soft and feminine, unpretentious style teamed up with a ‘can do’ attitude, bride’s love how her designs make them feel and look beautiful for their wedding day. Tanya is inspired by travel and luxury; she has 2 cats that are her muse while she works with her team at her Double Bay studio. ‘The Stars’ collection starts at $3800 and go up to $6000 and are all made in Sydney.
