Known for their eye to stock talented designers, Henry Corbett & Co proudly launched Celia Kate & Co.’s collection of fashion and accessories n October 22, 2014.

Featuring relaxed dresses and outfits in raw fabrics, linen, cotton and silk, divine jewellery and leather pieces from cuffs to belts, Celia Kate’s range is perfect for the upcoming summer months. Manufactured in Bali known for its humid weather, Celia says, “My design style is about making people feel relaxed and comfortable so they feel like they are being their true selves. My range is flexible and interchangeable, easy, graceful, simple and uncomplicated”.

The designer is inspired by the micro world of nature especially seen in her jewellery and leather pieces as well as the well known prints by Florence Broadhurst and her mother whom is a constant source of inspiration and creative support for Celia. Also inspired by striving to feel good the designer believes life is too short to not pursue your dreams and feel wonderful on a daily basis.

About Celia Kate: Always creative on a deep level which stemmed from her upbringing by a mother whom was very creative in all aspects of her life, Celia worked as a town planner for many years. She studied Surface Design at Sydney’s International School of Colour and Design (ISCD), which taught her many valuable tools within her art, then dabbled in painting, but it wasn’t until she realized her lifelong hobby of playing with clothing made her the happiest and turned her dream into reality by producing her first range of fashion and accessories – Celia Kate & Co. Celia resides in North Bondi, loves the beach and holistic lifestyle as well as Bali where she works and manufactures her brand. In 2015 Celia Kate will be launched in California. She also studied surface and textile design and colour theory giving her insight into layering surfaces and textiles whilst broadening her knowledge of colour, depth and tone. Manel says, “I can foresee how colour and light interact on large scale as well as in micro situations. I have a true belief in holistic design, which is seen on every level from texture, colour, form and function and how we live, move and breathe in our spaces. I love creating luxurious spaces for my clients to either come home or conduct business in”.
